Our Philips E70 International Cough Assist is a mechanical insufflation-exsufflation device designed to clear secretions from the lungs by simulating a natural cough. Similar to a normal deep breath, our Philips E70 International Cough Assist applies positive air pressure (insufflation) to obtain a wide volume of air within the lungs. This device often used by individuals with conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, spinal cord injuries that weaken the respiratory muscles and hanper the ability to cough effectively.
